Position
Sales Manager

Summary
This position is responsible for leading sales initiatives targeting Tier 1 suppliers and key accounts in the automotive industry. The Sales Manager will oversee both existing account management and strategic new business development to strengthen the company’s market position across North America. This role requires leadership in customer relationship management, sales strategy planning, and cross-functional coordination.

Essential Duties

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share in the automotive sector

  • Manage and expand relationships with key Tier 1 and OEM clients

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in line with company objectives

  • Collaborate with Japan HQ, engineering, and logistics teams to deliver customer-focused solutions

  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and proposal development

  • Track sales performance, create forecasts, and deliver periodic management reports

  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings

  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior sales staff as necessary

Working Hours, Working Style
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
On-site; domestic travel as required

Salary/Benefit
above 100,000 annually, depending on experience

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry

  • Proven ability to manage key accounts and develop new business

  • Experience coordinating with global teams and handling complex customer requirements

  • Business-level English is required; Japanese language skills are highly valued

  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills

  • Strategic mindset with hands-on sales execution ability
