Senior Sales Representative ( Machinery Department / Aerospace & Electronics Section )

Summary
This position is responsible for building relationships with customers, suppliers, and partner companies through sales and client interactions, aiming to maintain and improve profits and profit margins by proposing products and services. It also involves driving new business development and customer acquisition to diversify the business portfolio. Additionally, the role includes creating problem-solving plans tailored to customer needs and delivering presentations to facilitate proposals and consensus-building. Furthermore, it manages administrative tasks such as procurement, shipping, inventory control, accounting, and customer support efficiently, while understanding the company’s financial status and strategies to effectively advance operations.
In the Machinery Department, we provide products and technical solutions to the global electronics sector, including for semiconductors and military applications. We're also focusing on environmentally conscious initiatives like carbon neutrality and electric vehicles (EVs). We're looking for individuals who are eager to take on these challenges.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities
・​​​​​​​Contact or visit customer, supplier and partner sites and represents interests of customer.
・​​​​​​Promote our supplier's products or service to customers to maintain or increase profit and margins.
・Clerical work for procurement, shipping, inventory control, accounting and customer support.
・Create scenarios and execute plans to resolve any problems or challenges tailored to customer's need.
・Develop and create new business schemes and customers to diverse the business portofolio.
・Act as a meeting facilitator, do presentations to clients to make proposals or reach consensus.
・Utilize computer expertiese to improve efficiency of clarical work and analysis using Excel, Powerpoint, etc
・Understand financial state and strategy of each business within the company.
・Maintain and organize documents and reports in a timely manner to supervisor.
・Take responsibility to achive the budget and/or mid-term business plan as the sales representatives.

Bonus: Twice a year (based on company performance and individual performance)

During the Introductory Period (first 90 days), daily office attendance is required for training purposes​​​​​​​

Qualifications
・Education: Associate Degree or equivalent, or even a high school diploma is acceptable.
・Customer service, marketing, or sales experience (4+ years total). We highly value direct customer interaction experience.
・Practical experience at a manufacturer or a trading company.
・We welcome applicants from all cultural backgrounds.
While not required, Japanese language skills (reading comprehension and conversational ability) are a plus.
　Ability to effectively respond to questions or doing the negotiation with customers, management ​​​​​​​staff, and the general public in English.
　Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to individuals and groups in English.
　Ability to write reports, proposals, presentations and procedure manuals in English.
・Mathematical Skills
　Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions.
　Ability to analyze the financial statements such as Balance Sheet, Profit Loss, Cash-flow, etc.
　Ability to calculate price proposals considering profit margins.
・Reasoning Skills
　Ability to apply knowledge and sense of understanding to carry-out detailed written or oral instructions including technical contents.
　Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variable in standardized situations.
・Other skills
　Must be tactful, mature, flexible and able to successfully respond to multiple work pressures.
　Must have strong sense of responsibility and high awareness of taking the lead role.
　Be eager to learn everything and proactive to present added values.
　Must be able to use a computer and applications soft as Microsoft Windows/Office etc.
