Position
Specialist - Corporate Planning

Summary
A global automotive manufacturer headquartered in Japan is seeking a Corporate Planning Specialist to support strategic initiatives across its North American operations. This role requires a high degree of autonomy and offers opportunities to work closely with senior leadership and international affiliates.

Essential Duties

• Support companywide initiatives such as Hoshin planning, risk management, and policy management

• Create executive-level communications and presentations

• Organize and support cross-functional strategy meetings

• Assist with government affairs and assess the impact of policies on the organization

• Coordinate community engagement activities

• Support strategic planning processes and provide tools to management teams

• Manage executive meetings including planning, documentation, and reporting

• Actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts

• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Working Hours, Working Style
9:00～17:00
Full-time, onsite with some flexibility; 15–25% travel required

Working Location
Troy, MI

Salary/Benefit
75K-90K

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required

• 3+ years of relevant experience preferred

• Japanese language skills and experience in Japanese business culture preferred

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required

• Ability to meet deadlines consistently

• Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment preferred
