Sales Representative

Essential Duties​

• Act as the primary liaison to our exclusive national distributor, fostering deep, collaborative relationships with their representatives at all levels.
• Work alongside our distributor to support their sales efforts to retailers (supermarkets) and food service clients (restaurants).
• Deepen relationships with existing clients to understand their needs and expand business through strategic proposals and product education.
• Proactively research market trends, competitor activity, and consumer needs to identify opportunities for growth and provide insights for new product development.
• Analyze sales data to prepare insightful reports and create compelling presentation materials that tell the story of our brand's value.
• Plan and execute promotional activities, including trade shows and in-store demonstrations.
• Conduct business trips as needed to support sales activities and strengthen partnerships.

Qualifications​​​​​

• A demonstrable passion for Japanese bevarage, food, and culture. This is the most important qualification.
• 1-2 years of sales or account management experience (either B2B or B2C).
• Proven ability to work independently with excellent self-management and organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building genuine, long-term relationships.
• Fluency in English is required. Conversational Japanese is a significant plus but not mandatory.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable analyzing sales data.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Salary/Benefit

• Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 annually (DOE)
• Benefits:
• 401(k) with a 4% company match.
• Health Insurance: 100% of employee premium and 50% of dependent premium covered by the company.
