Business Development Specialist
 - Hybrid work
（ Fully remote work may also be considered for highly experienced candidates）

Summary
We are seeking a Sales Development Manager to expand our business with major and mid-sized retail chains across the U.S..
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the U.S. retail industry and experience in introducing overseas brands to the market.

 
Essential Duties
・Identify and develop new business opportunities with retail chains across the U.S.
・Conduct sales activities including product presentations and price negotiations with buyers and key decision-makers
・Prepare sales forecasts
・Create and submit activity reports
・Participate in trade shows and industry events
・Represent the brand in all external engagements

Salary/Benefit
Full-Time Employee: $70-80K+Incentive(25%)
Sales Representative:10% Commission on Sales(Purchase Orders) for full commission-based role

Qualifications
​​​​​​​・Minimum 5 years of sales experience (preferably in consumer goods, stationery, or retail industry)
・Proven track record of sales to U.S. retail chains such as Walmart, Staples, Office Depot, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Barnes & Noble, etc.
・Strong business negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with buyers
・Knowledge of premium/lifestyle stationery and miscellaneous goods is a plus
・Existing network in the retail industry is a plus
・Japanese language skills are not required, but fluency in English is essential
