Import Manager
 ​​​​​​​
Summary
​​​​​​​The company is seeking an experienced Import Manager to join its Michigan branch located in Taylor, MI. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in import operations and be comfortable working in a supportive, team-oriented office environment. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Essential Duties
​​​​​​​・Manage air and ocean import operations
・Coordinate with internal teams including customer service and brokerage
・Monitor shipment status, resolve issues, and ensure timely customs clearance
・Communicate with clients and provide excellent customer service
・Supervise and train team members
・Ensure compliance with U.S. import regulations and company policies
・Maintain communication with Japan and other global offices as needed

Working Hours, Working style

・On-site work only (no remote or hybrid work)

Salary/Benefit
​​​​​​​・Annual Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

Qualifications
​​​​​​​・Experience in import operations (preferably in a similar industry)
・English fluency is required; Japanese language skills are a strong plus
・Willingness and ability to work full-time on-siteCustoms Broker License is a strong plus
