Product Launch Coordinator

Summary
An Asian food manufacturer and distributor seeking a self-motivated Product Launch Coordinator to join their corporate headquarters team. The Product Launch Coordinator will support the execution of franchise programs. This role involves handling daily administrative tasks, coordinating materials, and assisting with new product and promotion rollouts. Attention to detail and good communication skills are essential. The coordinator will work closely with the Field Operations Department and other teams to ensure smooth and timely support for store-level implementation. Must be bilingual in English and Japanese.

Essential Duties

• Assist with the coordination and support of new product launches, promotional campaigns, and store concept rollouts under the direction of the Implementation Manager. Manage task timelines and track progress using internal tools to ensure timely execution.
• Communicate with the Field Operations Department to deliver essential information about new products and promotions. Provide support in organizing communication materials and maintaining consistent updates across teams.
• Coordinate the preparation of materials and tools, including placing supply orders based on requests from the Field Operations team. Create and maintain order tracking formats to monitor supply delivery and usage.
• Help maintain and update store data, documentation, and implementation records. Develop and refine templates and reporting formats to support efficient data entry and file management.
• Assist in estimating and tracking the required quantities of ingredients and packaging for product rollouts. Collaborate with the Distribution Team to monitor stock levels and ensure timely preparation and delivery, while managing related tracking documents and schedules.
• Work closely with the Distribution Team to verify inventory status of new ingredients, ensuring sufficient supply is available ahead of each product’s rollout. Communicate any discrepancies and follow up on restocking needs to avoid delays in execution.
• Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• ​​​​​​Associates degree required, bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in an administrative role.
• Experience in the food industry / franchise business preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
• Ability to work independently.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Must be fluent in both English and Japanese.
