A global manufacturer of Factory Automation (FA) equipment is seeking an entry-level Japanese-English Bilingual Sales Representative to join its friendly, international team in the Chicago suburbs (Rolling Meadows, IL area).

This opportunity is perfect for someone whose first language is English and who also has strong Japanese communication skills—someone who enjoys connecting with people from different cultures and is excited to start a career in international business.

You’ll begin by supporting the inside sales team, learning about the company’s products and customers through hands-on training and mentorship. After approximately six months, you’ll transition into an outside sales position, where you’ll visit clients, strengthen relationships, and continue to grow professionally.

Most customers are long-term partners, so this role focuses on relationship-building, communication, and customer care, not cold calling. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who is curious, dependable, and motivated to learn in a supportive global environment.

Essential Duties

• Learn about Factory Automation (FA) products and how they are used in manufacturing industries

• Communicate with customers and provide accurate information about products, pricing, and delivery

• Support senior sales staff with order management, quotations, and coordination

• Maintain professional and responsive communication with clients

• Keep accurate records of sales activities and documentation

• Assist with data entry, reporting, and general office support

• Participate in client visits and outside sales activities after training (including occasional U.S. travel)

• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure excellent customer experience

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field (recent graduates welcome)
