【Position】
 Mechanical (Process) Engineer *Visa Support

【Summary】
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for providing solutions to complex technical issues related to operation that
require in-depth analysis of tangible and intangible factors and the creative use of established or innovative methods.

【Essential Duties】
・ Manages and designs mechanical system upgrades or modifications to our designs.
・ Designs mechanical systems such as skids, fluid distribution loops and connections, comprised of pumps,valves, filters, instrumentation, high-purity piping, etc.
・ Assists with modifying and reviewing production drawings for a variety of projects.
・Evaluates and selects component suppliers.
・Evaluates and selects mechanical contractors for system assembly and installation.
・Negotiates price and lead time with vendors, issues purchase orders.
・Plans, coordinates, and supervises the sourcing of components and the assembly, installation,
commissioning and troubleshooting of systems.
・Collaborates with the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting, mechanical
plans according to budget constraints, design factors, or client needs.
・Applies basic knowledge of commonly used mechanical engineering concepts, practices, codes, and
procedures within the mechanical engineering services industry.
・Assists with research and compiles project related data as required by the project managers.
・Assists with client presentations, fabrication drawing review, and contract administration.
・Performs field inspections, measurements, or calculations, as required.
・Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

・Exhibits positivity and flexibility when assigned a new task or project.

【Qualifications】
・A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing fluid handling systems for industrial plants, such as water
treatment plants, chemical plants, beverage plants, oil refineries or semiconductor fabs.
・Demonstrated proficiency in CAD and Computer-3D modeling software (Plant3D preferred, Revit, etc.),
required.
・Ability to understand PnIDs, required.
・Demonstrated computer literacy, required.
・Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, required.
・Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, required.
・Experience with water treatment engineering processes, a plus.
・Japanese, Chinese, Korean proficiency is a plus.
