Position
Sales Representative (B2B – Electronic Components)

Summary
This position is responsible for managing and expanding B2B customer relationships in the eastern half of the United States, focusing on sales of electronic components such as spring pin connectors and antennas. All client interactions are conducted in English, and there are no Japanese clients. However, familiarity with Japanese business practices and corporate culture is preferred, as the internal environment includes Japanese-speaking colleagues.

Essential Duties

• Develop and maintain relationships with B2B clients in the eastern U.S.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and inbound inquiries

• Conduct monthly business trips within the U.S. and Canada

• Coordinate with the Arizona office for product-related matters and customer support

• Prepare proposals, quotations, meeting minutes, and sales reports

• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, with an understanding of Japanese business expectations (hou-ren-sou is a plus)

• Share market insights and customer feedback to support continuous improvement in sales strategy

Working Hours, Working Style

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

• On-site work required during the first year

• Hybrid work (3 days in office/week) available after the first year

• Business travel required approximately once per month (within the U.S. and Canada)

Salary/Benefit

• Base Salary: Up to $84,000/year (commensurate with experience)

• Bonus: Annual bonus equivalent to one month’s base salary (paid in April)

Qualifications
Required:

• 3–5 years of B2B sales experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage documentation (e.g., proposals, reports, meeting notes)

• Willingness to travel and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Preferred:

• Experience in electronic components, precision equipment, or high-mix, low-volume product sales

• Familiarity with Japanese corporate culture and communication practices

• Japanese language ability is a plus but not required
