Technical Sales Engineer​​​​​​​
Summary
​​​​​​​We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support the development and realization of custom automated equipment for Tier 1 automotive suppliers. This is a customer-facing, engineering-focused position that involves close collaboration with both internal teams and external clients throughout the entire product lifecycle—from initial feasibility assessment through to mass production readiness.
Essential Duties
​​​​​​​Serve as a technical liaison for customer-supplied drawings and specifications, assessing feasibility and guiding the product toward manufacturability.
Participate in early-stage business development ("seed planting") alongside the sales team to establish technical credibility and identify opportunities.
Act as a technical consultant rather than a service engineer, focusing on pre-sales and design communication.
Utilize CAD data (e.g., 3D models) to evaluate designs and support discussions with internal engineering and customer teams.
Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to ensure efficiency and scalability in production.
Grow into the role over time through hands-on experience and mentoring, with the expectation of long-term development.
