【Position】
Control engineer
               
【Summary】
This company provides high pressure washing and deburring solutions, including precision cutting and machining, backed by world-class service and support is looking for a Controls Engineer in our Itasca, Illinois location. The Controls Engineer is to provide customers with on-site repair, troubleshooting, programming, or maintenance services for Sugino equipment. Must be able to travel to a customer site at a moment’s notice.

【Essential Duties】
·       Troubleshoot, repair, electrical control devices.
·       Assist plant associates with technical questions and potential solutions.
·       Possess ability to investigate and resolve HMI and PLC issues as needed.
·       Ability to interpret PLC Ladder logic.
·       Ability to work well independently on smaller projects.
·       Ability to travel 40% to 90%.
·       Aid in the installation and startup of new equipment.
·       Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
·       Test and verify electrical wiring: safety circuits, I0, communications, etc.
·       Debug and test all software to meet project requirements.

【Qualifications】
Experience Requirements:
·       One (1) to three (3) years of Fanuc PMC Controllers experience.  
·       One (1) to three (3) years of Rockwell PLC Control experience.
·       Minimum experience with Mitsubishi PLC control.
·       Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in automation/manufacturing environment.
 
Education Requirements:
·       Four (4) year degree or equivalent in engineering, preferably electrical recommended but not mandatory
