Japanese Bilingual Outside Sales Representative

Summary
A Japanese food and beverage distributor is seeking a Japanese Bilingual Outside Sales Representative. This position will be responsible for developing new client relationships, maintaining existing accounts, and promoting a wide range of imported Japanese food products to restaurants, grocery stores, and distributors across the region.  ​​​​

Essential Duties
​​​​​​​- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Actively seek out new business opportunities within the foodservice and retail industries.
- Visit clients regularly to introduce new products, take orders, and provide product support.
- Collaborate with the purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and order accuracy.
- Stay up to date on market trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Working Hours, Working style
8:00am-5:00pm
- During the initial training period, full-time in-office attendance is required to ensure thorough onboarding and team integration.
- After the training period, a flexible work style is available, including direct commuting to client sites and the option to work remotely when appropriate.

Salary/Benefit
$55-70K+bonus

Qualifications
- At least 2 years of B2B sales experience in the food import/export or distribution industry.
- Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within assigned territory
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively
