Bilingual Moving Coordinator (English / Japanese)

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and communicative Bilingual Moving Coordinator to join our Moving Department. This role serves as the vital link between our customers and the operational moving team. You will be responsible for ensuring that residential and organizational moves are executed seamlessly by managing documentation, coordinating logistics, and providing exceptional customer service in both English and Japanese.

Essential Duties

• Customer Communication: Effectively communicate with customers via email and phone to facilitate the preparation of all necessary moving documents and provide project updates.

• Documentation Management: Ensure all shipment-related documentation is accurately completed, filed, and processed in compliance with company requirements.

• Operations Coordination: Work closely with the moving team to coordinate packing, removal, and loading schedules.

• Team Collaboration: Establish and maintain professional working relationships with drivers and the moving crew to ensure clear instruction and smooth workflow.

• General Support: Provide administrative and business support functions as assigned by the department lead.

Working Hours, Working style

• Hours: Monday – Friday (Specific shift times to be discussed).

• Overtime: Ability to work overtime as needed to meet customer requirements and project deadlines.

• Work Style: Office-based coordination with active communication with field teams.

• Salary: $24.00 per hour

Qualifications

Requirement Priority: Japanese language proficiency is the highest priority for this role.

• Language Skills: Fully bilingual in English and Japanese (Ability to read, write, and speak both languages professionally).

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in customer service or a related administrative role.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and data entry.

• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to give clear, concise directions to drivers and moving crews.

• Flexibility: A proactive attitude and the willingness to handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
