Position

Product Manager (Founding Member)

Summary

A leading Japanese tech company is rebuilding its platform to lead the US creator economy. As a Product Manager, you will drive global product growth across the US and Japan, leading the entire lifecycle from business objectives to technical requirements. You will work directly with the Founder & CEO to create a high-value platform for the "Economy of Expertise."

Essential Duties

• Establish product OKRs and Epics to achieve core business KPIs
• Conduct market research and user needs assessment to design mobile and web platform concepts
• Define Customer Journey Maps, user stories, and wireframes for a global scale
• Execute rapid PDCA cycles in close collaboration with the development team
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Marketing) in Japan
• Drive product innovation as a founding member alongside the leadership

• Working Style: Hybrid
• Short-term Mission: Scale the core social platform, focusing on payment systems, reward/point features, and advanced moderation tools.

Salary/Benefit

• $100K - $170K (DOE)

Qualifications

• Language: Fluency in both Japanese and English (Business level or higher)
• Experience:
  • 3+ years of PM experience in B2C or C2C (Web/Mobile)
  • Proven track record in designing payment systems or reward/point programs
• Mindset: Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to building products from 0→1.

Skills

• Data: Proficient in SQL and dashboard management
• Tech: Experience integrating AI Agents or other emerging technologies
• Soft: Strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Domain: PM experience in UGC, community, or creator economy platforms
• Cloud: Familiarity with GCP or AWS environments
• AI/ML: Knowledge of automated moderation and recommendation engines
• Compliance: Understanding of global data privacy regulations (e.g., CCPA)
• Global: Experience managing products for multiple international markets
