Position
Tech Support Assistant Manager

Summary
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to support and oversee daily operations within the Technical Department. This role serves as a key partner to the Technical Director, providing leadership to technicians, coordinating cross-departmental activities, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams, vendors, and external partners. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, multi-location environment and is bilingual in English and Japanese.

Key Responsibilities

Operational and Team Leadership

• Support the Technical Director in day-to-day technical operations and departmental priorities

• Guide and support technicians with scheduling, workload coordination, and issue resolution

• Assist with layout changes, machine updates, new game installations, and operational improvements

• Act as an escalation point for store-level technical or operational issues

Communication and Coordination

• Serve as the primary liaison between the Technical Department, internal teams, vendors, and external partners

• Interpret and translate between Japanese and English as needed

• Coordinate with store teams to ensure requests and updates are handled efficiently

Reporting and Documentation

• Review daily, weekly, and monthly store reports and identify trends or improvement opportunities

• Maintain accurate documentation for orders, parts, vendor contacts, and technical tasks

• Prepare summaries and reports to support management decision-making

Inventory, Ordering, and Logistics

• Oversee parts inventory and maintain appropriate stock levels

• Review and process parts and supply orders and coordinate shipping and equipment transfers

• Support logistics for new store openings and equipment shipments

Administrative and Travel Support

• Oversee administrative tasks, including call handling, payment support, and technician travel arrangements

• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and assist with additional operational duties as needed

Salary/Benefit
$30/hr~$31.75/hr (Non-Exempt)

This role requires regular weekend work and may include work on holidays based on business needs.

Qualifications
• Bilingual English/Japanese
• Strong communication and leadership skills; able to motivate and guide staff.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel as needed
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills backed by logical, data-driven judgment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
