Position
Treasurer & Controller
Summary
Oversees the company’s accounting function and performs high-level financial analysis to ensure legal and tax compliance.
Essential Duties
•    Supervises accounting systems
•    Responsible for tax compliance and reporting (Pension and 401(k))
•    Maintains internal accounting control - JSOX
•    Maintains cash management
•    Coordinates outside audits of financial statements and benefit plans
•    Oversees risk management and insurance
•    Oversees custom compliance for imports and exports
•    Maintains banking relationships
•    Central contact for outside accounting firms
•    Administers company credit card program
Required tasks
 ​​​​​​​•    Prepares monthly financial statements & reports – performs analysis as required
•    Participates in business forecasting, budget, cost accounting, and reporting
•    Consolidates financial reporting for all subsidiary companies of Nachi
•    Reports tax management position for Japanese associates 
•    Complete fixed asset inventory and asset management
•    Complies with government census reporting
•    Member of benefit committee
•    Keeps company staff meeting minutes
•    Reports monthly financial results to President
•    Manages all accounting functions for US subsidiaries
•    Advises associates as to proper accounting treatment of transactions
•    Reviews Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
•    Reports to parent company accounting department concerning related-party invoices
•    Maintains monthly bank reconciliations and cash pooling transactions
