Position
Japanese-Bilingual Marketing Associate / Lead

Summary
A leading Japanese entertainment company is seeking a dynamic and qualified Japanese-Bilingual Marketing Associate or Lead to oversee digital and social media marketing efforts. This role focuses on increasing engagement, visibility, and monetization of the company’s content across North and Latin American markets.

Essential Duties

• Drive traffic and views to the company’s official YouTube channel to support monetization and promotional goals.
• Manage all major social media platforms, including tools and relationships with each platform's representatives.
• Create and edit engaging video clips using existing content for use on social media platforms.
• Develop and publish additional social media content to build brand awareness and engagement.
• Collaborate with Japan HQ to share timely updates on new products, news, and initiatives.
• Plan and execute marketing strategies for both new and catalog comtent releases.
• Develop and manage a social media strategy tailored to enhancing visibility in North and Latin America.
• Monitor social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices; conduct competitive analysis.
• Coordinate with internal teams (content, brand, planning, engagement, licensing) to manage the promotional calendar.
• Plan and execute events from concept to completion, aligned with target audience and business objectives.
• Draft, distribute, and track press releases to relevant media outlets.
• Develop and maintain marketing and sales collateral in coordination with internal teams.
• Support special projects as assigned.

Working Hours, Working style
Monday - Friday; 9:00 - 18:00 

• Flexible start/end time by up to 1 hour with manager approval
• Hybrid work environment (2–3 days in office weekly)
• Occasional business travel (2–3 times per year)

Salary/Benefit

Qualifications

• Fluent in both Japanese and English
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing (social media content marketing strongly preferred)
• Experience in the TV production, streaming, or content licensing industry is a plus
• Ability to handle sensitive business information with professionalism and discretion
• Strong knowledge of the entertainment/media/technology industries and current trends
• Analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to present insights through campaign data
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere or equivalent video editing/graphic design software
• Familiarity with YouTube and major social media platforms
• Passion for anime and manga strongly preferred
• Willingness to travel occasionally for expos and industry events
