Network Engineer

Position: Network Engineer

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving customers' network infrastructure. You will manage network systems to maximize performance and reliability while providing troubleshooting and configuration support. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and IP networking environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and support network systems and infrastructure (routers, firewalls, switches)

  • Maintain and implement network solutions, including troubleshooting and performance optimization

  • Monitor network performance and make recommendations based on analysis

  • Provide on-site and remote support to customer offices or Data Centers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in network design, implementation, and support in IP networking environments (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.)

  • Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals is required

  • Network certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) are a plus but not required; practical experience is more important

  • Ability to read and write Japanese and English is preferred. Candidates with only English may be considered if they have prior experience with Japanese companies or deep understanding of Japanese business practices.

  • Candidates at various skill levels are welcome (from intermediate to advanced), but entry-level candidates without prior network experience (e.g., only academic exposure) will not be considered.

​​​Location: Midtown Manhattan, New York, NY
Hybrid work: 2–3 days per week in office or on client site. Work at customer offices/Data Centers (NY, NJ, CT) may be required. Business trips or dispatch to other locations are possible.

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (standard)
Some after-hours or weekend support may be required for urgent network issues. Flexible candidates who can respond to emergencies are preferred. Compensatory time off can be arranged if weekend work occurs.

Employment Type: Full-time, direct hire

Salary Range: $70,000 – $95,000 (fixed)
