Job Description

The Account Manager sells our stationery brand by assessing customer needs and delivering brand-focused solutions that ensure mutual success. This role will coordinate between customers and internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our brand solutions according to company and customer needs. Manage and develop customer accounts to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with customers.

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers.
• Assist customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share, and in-person meetings.
• Monitor and respond to inquiries received through the sales team email.
• Work with Accounts Payables team to set up new house accounts by corresponding with the customer to obtain all necessary documentation and then communicate to internal team.
• Monitor customer orders from receipt to shipment to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our brand solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
• Responsible for keeping current customers satisfied and delivering exceptional account service on a day-to-day basis.
• Monitor and analyze customer's usage of our product and market trends.
• Communicate between the customer and internal teams.
• Work directly with sales reps for assigned accounts, providing support for customer needs.
• Provide direction and input on programs and products requested by assigned accounts by interacting with Marketing and communicating product requests and placement opportunities.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports comparing sales and bookings to forecast and previous year along with account activities planned for the upcoming month.
• Participate in Sales meetings, Account Review Meetings, Sales & Marketing management meetings, trade shows and company meetings as required.
• Achieve sales goals while operating within expense budgets to ensure proper management of expenses and spending.
• Travel may be required within North America to participate in trade shows and customer events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience
• 2-3 years’ experience within consumer products sales department
• Sales experience (retail, inside sales or outside sales) within Office Products, Craft, Fine Art or Mass Market channel, desired but not required
• An understanding of sales processes and customer service practices
• Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience in Acumatica, desired but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

Hybrid schedule: 3 office days in Suwanee office and 2 work from home days

Hours: 8am - 5pm
