Job Description

【Position】
 IT Application Engineer

【Essential Duties】
• Provide company system users with technical support as needed and relay information to our development teams for ongoing maintenance and update needs
• Optimize applications by integrating new technologies and performing upgrades
• Perform diagnostic tests and debugging procedures and report the result to development team
• Generate ideas for software innovation based on market trends
• Document development processes, procedures, and application version histories
• Keep up with advancements in application engineering and new technologies
• Develop and maintain various reports by using SSRS or Excel and deploy to production environment
• Understand company business and user operations and feedback into application design
• Other duties as assigned

【Qualifications】
​​​​​​​- Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years relevant experience
- Ability to learn and adapt to software. Preferred experience working with SAP
- Communication skills (verbal and written), organizational skills, and computer skills (Word, Excel, SAP, E-mail, etc.)
- Bilingual language highly preferred: English/Japanese.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Superb collaboration and communication.
- Great organization and time management.
- Relevant training and/or certifications as an Application Engineer.
- Experience with MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, RPA, EDI.- May travel as needed.
