Job Description

【Summary】
The Industrial Site Supervisor assists the Project Manager by overseeing designated construction activities on-site and coordinating subcontractors and field personnel. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract specifications and company standards.

【Essential Duties】

• Review and update progress reports, cost reports, schedules, and completion requirements.

• Participate in preconstruction planning regarding project schedules and budgets.

• Review estimates and cost control systems at project startup.

• Understand project specifications, contracts, and general conditions, ensuring materials and subcontracted work meet contract and quality requirements.

• Manage material testing and proper recording of test results.

• Direct and coordinate subcontractors and field personnel in assigned work areas.

• Communicate expectations regarding schedules, construction methods, policies, safety, quality, and performance standards in coordination with the Project Manager.

• Maintain site safety and asset security, implementing safety, EEO, risk management, training, and quality control programs.

• Attend daily/weekly project progress meetings and monitor upcoming work activities.

• Support project close-out processes, including financial settlement, demobilization, and turnover to the customer.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Promote organizational values and actively participate in training and career development initiatives.

【Working Style】

• Primarily works on active construction sites.

• Required to wear appropriate PPE outside offices or trailers, in accordance with safety policies and weather conditions.

【Salary / Benefits】

• $32 – $34 per hour

【Qualifications】

• Experience in industrial construction or mechanical installation preferred

• Understanding of construction site practices, procedures, and methods

• Knowledge of basic construction contract terms and concepts

• Ability to make decisions under tight deadlines

• Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage personnel, equipment, and multiple activities

• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards

• Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Associate degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, or equivalent experience and education
