Assistant Store Manager

Summary
A Pastry retail store in Orange County is seeking a professional for the Assistant Store Manager positon to oversee all aspects of store operations, including managing people, products, and finances.
The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading the team to maintain high operational standards.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage daily operations while contributing to the overall success of the store.

Essential Duties
・Oversee all daily operations of the store, including staffing, inventory, and financial management.
・Manage and lead store employees, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
・Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining excellent service standards.
・Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
・Coordinate product ordering, stock management, and waste control to maintain optimal inventory levels.
・Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
・Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
・Prepare reports on sales, labor, and inventory as required by management.
・Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and special events to drive store traffic.
・Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and manage overtime during peak periods.

Working Hours, Working style
・Full-time, shift-based. Working hours: 8-10 hours between 4:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., 5–6 days per week.
　‐ Since the position is Non-Exempt, overtime pay will be provided.
・Weekend and holiday work required.
・Overtime may be required during peak periods.

Qualifications
​​​​​​​・No specific educational requirements.
・Minimum of 3 years of management experience in the food and beverage industry.
