Position
Japanese-Bilingua Buyer (Supply Chain)

Summary
A Japanese trading company is hiring a bilingual Buyer (Supply Chain) who is proficient in both Japanese and English. This role primarily involves the coordination of communication between their overseas office  and domestic suppliers to procure products and services requested by our customers.

Essential Duties
・Sourcing and quotation negotiation.
・Data entry of supplier quotations into our system.
・Order placement, delivery follow-up and aftercare support (claims).
・Email Communication between all concerned parties.
・Establishing strong supplier relationships (includes visiting supplier facilities).

Salary & Benefits
$​​​​​62 - 65K
Annual Salary Review : Once a year

Working Hours & Style
Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 4:00 pm or 9:00 am - 5:00 pm ( 1 hour paid lunch )
Work in the office 3.5 days per week after 3 months probation period ( No guarantee )

Qualifications
・Knowledgeable in Microsoft office
・Bilingual Speaker (English/Japanese), Proficiency in Japanese Reading is a preferred but not a must.
・Must be able to work in a team environment
・Be able to adapt and learn quickly
・Negotiation and communication skills
