【Position】 Engineering Manager

【Summary】 The Engineering Manager is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of all factory equipment. They are accountable for achieving budget targets related to each technology and are responsible for launching new projects. Crucially, this role requires future participation in management and involves participating in meetings with group companies as required. The manager must collaborate with other departments to achieve budget targets and ensure effective communication between management, customers, and suppliers.

【Essential Duties】
Engineering & Maintenance:

• Maintain and manage all machinery and equipment within the factory (all factories included).
• Provide repair support in the event of equipment failure and implement countermeasures in collaboration with equipment manufacturers.
• ​​​​​​​Manage tools, including ordering repairs, to prevent production stagnation.
• ​​​​​​​Exchange technical information with group companies to promote the sharing and introduction of technology.

Cost & Budget Management:

• Achieve budget targets for tool and product defect costs and continuously reduce costs.
• Continuously negotiate with trading companies and tool manufacturers to ensure no losses in ordering/switching and work towards cost reduction.

​​​Project & Quality:

• Support planning and preparation for new product orders.

• Investigate the root cause of quality defects and implement countermeasures.

• Achieve customer-required delivery dates and quality targets.

【Work Hours】
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.（Mon-Fri）
Note: Must be able to respond quickly to company situations in a 24-hour production environment.

【Salary / Benefit】

• Salary: $55,000-$65,000  (Depends on Experience)
• Status: Exempt

【Qualifications】

• Two-year engineering degree, or two or more years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in automotive industry production engineering is preferred, but equivalent experience/motivation is acceptable.
• Excellent communication skills and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• Demonstrate a willingness to participate in future management.
