Position
Quality Manager

Summary
The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing all quality-related functions in a tier-1 multi-shift automotive production environment. This role ensures safety, testing and data accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement in manufacturing operations. The position leads a quality team and reports directly to the Plant Manager.

Essential Duties

• Manage and lead a quality team of 20–25 employees
• Analyze data and specifications to determine quality standards and product reliability goals
• Develop methods for improving labor, material, and equipment utilization
• Plan and optimize manufacturing sequences and processes for maximum efficiency
• Coordinate quality control activities to resolve production issues and reduce cost
• Communicate with vendors, staff, and management on specs, procedures, and project progress
• Draft layouts of workspaces and materials for optimal flow and usage
• Review production schedules and engineering specifications for continuous quality improvement
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly quality reports
• Actively participate in management and production meetings
• Implement lean manufacturing and JIT practices to drive quality and process improvements
• Mentor and train team members to support organizational growth

Salary/Benefit
Annual salary up to $105,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Full-time salaried position with standard benefits package (Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, etc.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred)
• Minimum 5–7 years of management or supervisory experience
• Automotive industry experience required
• Familiarity with IATF16949 standards
• Experience in lean manufacturing and just-in-time (JIT) production environments
