Position
Infrastructure Engineer (Bilingual Japanese / English)

Summary
We are seeking a bilingual Infrastructure Engineer to support system design, development, and cloud infrastructure operations in a global environment. This role requires strong technical expertise in cloud and infrastructure systems, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English. Japanese is required for reporting and documentation, while English is essential for coordinating and leading local technical teams and stakeholders.

Essential Duties

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure environments using AWS and/or Azure

  • Design overall system architecture including servers, networks, and storage

  • Support system development projects and infrastructure implementation

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure performance and reliability

  • Prepare technical reports and documentation in Japanese

  • Coordinate and communicate with local engineers and stakeholders in English

  • Lead or support technical projects, including schedule and task management (preferred)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stable and secure system operations

Working Hours, Working Style

  • Full-time position

  • Must be available during Central or Eastern Time business hours

Working Location

  • Fully Remote

  • $80-97K/year

Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English

    • Japanese: required for reporting and documentation

    • English: required for communication and coordination with your teams

  • Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure)

  • Experience in infrastructure design, including server, network, and storage architecture

  • Experience in system development and/or infrastructure implementation projects

  • Experience leading technical projects is a plus

  • Experience in the financial industry (banking, securities, etc.) is a plus but not mandatory
