Sales Manager
Summary
A Japanese company specializing in STEM educational software is seeking a Sales Manager to drive its expansion in the U.S. market. The company's content is highly acclaimed in Japan, and they aim to bring its value to more schools in the U.S., creating greater learning opportunities.
In this role, you will lead a sales team to increase product adoption in schools while actively engaging in sales activities to build strong relationships and drive growth.
Essential Duties (Not Official)

• Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market presence and drive revenue growth in the U.S. education sector.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, teachers, and PTAs, serving as the primary point of contact.
• Proposal Development & Negotiation: Create compelling sales proposals and lead contract negotiations to secure favorable agreements.
• Market Research & Expansion: Identify new business opportunities through market research and maintain a client database.
• Sales Team Leadership: Guide and support the sales team to achieve targets and enhance overall performance.
• Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to management for strategic decision-making.

M-F 8 hours per day

Qualifications

• ​​​​​​​5-10 years of sales experience in the educational materials sector, preferably with a focus on STEM-related products.
• Proven track record of driving sales growth and expanding market presence.
• Strong network within the education industry, including established relationships with schools and teachers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term partnerships.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a sales team.
• Familiarity with the U.S. education system and procurement processes is a plus.
