Warehouse & Operations Strategy Manager

Summary
A leading Japanese company is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Operations Strategy Manager to lead and optimize thier warehouse operations. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in warehouse management, operational analysis, and cost-saving strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams, improving efficiencies, and collaborating across multiple departments to enhance overall logistics performance.

Essential Duties (Subect to Change)

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies

• Manage and lead a team of 10 or more warehouse staff, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations.

• Analyze warehouse operations to identify inefficiencies and implement strategic improvements to reduce costs and enhance productivity.

• Develop and execute warehouse strategies, including inventory control, space utilization, and workflow optimization.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a well-organized, hazard-free workplace.

• Operate forklifts and oversee material handling operations (must hold a valid forklift license).

• Work closely with logistics, procurement, and other departments to improve supply chain efficiency.

• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous operational improvements.

Monday - Friday; 8 hours a day

$80K - 120K DOE

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.
• Proven experience managing teams of 10+ employees.
• Fluency in English (business level); Spanish or Japanese proficiency is a plus.
• Valid forklift license and hands-on experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Basic knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in operational strategy and cost-cutting initiatives.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and functions to enhance overall efficiency.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience working in retail warehouse environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with advanced warehouse automation technologies is a plus.
