Position: Japanese Bilingual Engineering Manager

Summary:
The Bilingual Engineering Manager will lead the customization and refurbishment of welding machinery at our Huntsville, Alabama facility. Specializing in delivering tailored solutions for manufacturing operations, this role involves managing technical projects, engaging directly with customers nationwide (primarily along the East Coast), and providing hands-on mechanical expertise. This position requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to communicate effectively in English, with proficiency in Japanese being highly preferred.

Essential Duties:

Project Management:

• Define project scopes by understanding customer requirements and developing tailored solutions for welding machinery.
• Plan and oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time delivery and successful execution.
• Address technical and logistical challenges during the refurbishment and customization process.

Customer Engagement:

• Conduct site visits across the U.S., with a primary focus on the East Coast, to assess customer needs and provide technical solutions.
• Foster strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and exceptional service.

Technical Leadership:

• Oversee the refurbishment, customization, and installation of welding machinery for manufacturing environments.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to ensure machinery meets client specifications.
• Stay up-to-date on industry advancements to incorporate innovative solutions into customer offerings.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Collaborate closely with the Japan headquarters and U.S.-based teams to coordinate projects and address technical challenges.
• Effectively communicate project updates, technical details, and solutions in English; proficiency in Japanese is highly valued.

Working Hours, Working Style:

• Full-time, on-site role based in Huntsville, Alabama.
• Nationwide travel required (primarily along the East Coast) to meet with clients and oversee project implementations.
