Position
Distribution Supervisor

Summary
​​​​​​This position would require full understanding and the ability to perform supporting work on all the distribution accounts customer operations.

Essential Duties
- Understand and monitor all Distribution accounts operations to meet customer requirements on a daily level.
- manage Dock Activities regarding shipping and receiving scheduling plus staff loading / unloading / receiving/ put away freight.
- Process/ Verify the billing accuracy and charges to be applied to all accounts plus complete and email the customers end of the month billing invoices for all accounts.
- Monitor Staff working hours and process weekly hours approval in KRONOS plus work on monthly Distribution hours report.
- Communicate and resolve customers and JKAM inquiries and issues timely and properly.
- Work with IT on internal issues and requests by customers, including special projects and new customers onboarding plus rates setup.
- Create and update accounts SOP, Job Aid, operations instructions and follow up procedures.
- Plan staff allocation and work coverage on daily basis plus work on staff onboarding/ off boarding and temp agencies/HR related issues/ needs.
- Support staff on their account work assignments when needed to help on increased work volume or lacking skill set.
- Work with carriers to coordinate/monitor/resolve shipments, pricing rates, required documentation, claims and billing disputes/and other issues.
- Work on monthly data recording KPI, Quality Compliance/Safety/YES Global/and other reports.
- Provide/perform safety training and other compliance required training.
- Work on Kaizen, Gemba checking and other projects with the Distribution team.
- Support staff and department on computer/printer/labeling issues and projects.
- Manage inventories for all accounts with the support of the assigned per account team, create and audit inventory reports when requested.
- Able to use the reach truck forklift to support the operations plus follow up on maintenance as needed.
- Train, review, coaching, counseling, disciplining department staff.
- Work, troubleshoot and train others on using RF scanners and special WMS operations features.
- Participate and organize employee/department engagement activities/ events.
- Work with BD team and JKAM members to support new customers onboarding and operations inquiries, Value Stream support information and review of new setup rates.
Flexible working hours to support Distribution operation's needs.

**This position is going to be a very customer centric job and as such depending on the customers need, you may be required to work out of the above range of working hours

Qualifications
- Prior experience as a team lead or supervisor,
- Prior expereince in import procedures and warehousing operations,
- Focused, dedicated, and customer centric oriented personality,
- Willingness to learn new ideas and work related knowhows,
- Ability to multitask and coordinate between different divisions,
- Ability to speak spanish is preffered but not must,
