【Position】    
Japaense gas company is seeking a HSE Manager.

【Summary】
This company is steadily broadening its’ horizons to new markets throughout the Americas in the fields of industrial gases, Hydrogen, LP Gas, Helium markets along with ceramics, chemicals, metals cooking products. They are looking for a Senior HSE Field Coordinator to manage our Health, Safety and Environmental programs at the field level. This person will be responsible for leading systems, processes and procedures that promote a positive safety culture, which results in an injury free and healthy workplace. Collaborate with local leadership to execute on all local, state, federal regulatory HSE requirements and company HSE programs.

【Essential Duties】
Program Management:
- Ensure that projects are appropriately set up and supported to execute the safety program.
- Conduct audits at project sites to review records, permits, field conditions, safe work practices, and assess employees' knowledge of safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with CalEPA environmental regulations.
- Ensure the execution of corporate programs and standards.
- Lead safety business plan efforts in the coverage area.
- Prepare scheduled reports.
- Promote and take ownership of the safety program.

Site Visits:
- Proactively visit projects to assess and collaborate with teams for improvement.
- Allocate the majority of time to being on-site and in the field.

Build Relationships:
- Collaborate and communicate regularly with Construction and Project Management teams.
- Engage with safety professionals and management teams across the organization.

Manage Incidents:
- Provide on-site incident investigation expertise.
- Effectively manage the investigation process, report-out, and implement resulting mitigation plans.

【Working Hours, Working style】
M-F 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Overtime (around 10 hours  a month)

【Salary, Benefit】
$80,000-100,000
Annual Bonus (15-20% of salary)

【Qualifications】
· Minimum of an Associate’s degree in a relevant discipline
· 5-7 years of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) experience
· Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
· Strong knowledge of Federal and California Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and processes
· Extensive experience with Federal and California Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and processes
· Willingness to travel for training, meetings, and benchmarking, as well as weekly support of multiple facilities within the geography
· Computer skills in Microsoft Office-based applications
