Job Summary:

The Sales Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team of a fishing tackle manufacturer, facilitating smooth communication with wholesalers. This role requires sensitivity to industry trends and needs, providing essential support for the success of sales activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Negotiations with Wholesalers:

• Engage in regular communication with wholesalers, addressing issues related to product shipments, delivery schedules, and price negotiations.
• Respond to orders and requests from wholesalers, ensuring accurate and timely information delivery.

Order Processing:

• Receive and accurately input orders from wholesalers into the system.
• Check inventory status and production schedules, providing relevant information to wholesalers.

Contract and Price Management:

• Create and manage documents related to contracts with wholesalers.

Information Gathering and Reporting:

• Analyze feedback from wholesalers, contributing to the improvement of products and services.

Sales Support:

• Provide necessary documents and information to the sales team, supporting negotiations and presentations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong communication skills and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in basic business software (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Knowledge of fishing tackle or outdoor products is desirable.

Hourly Wage: $20 to $23.

Work Hours:

• Flexible working hours with a core time from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
