Shipping Operations Staff Job Description

Job Overview: Shipping operations staff are responsible for various tasks in the shipping process, including product packaging, loading, and maintenance work on lifts. Additionally, they perform motor replacement and wiring tasks for lifts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Execution of product packaging and loading tasks.
2. Use of forklifts to transport products and organize them within the warehouse.
3. Performance of lift motor replacement and wiring tasks, including simpler duties.
4. Adherence to safety regulations and operational procedures in the shipping process.
5. Capability to lift objects weighing up to 5 kilograms, following weight restrictions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. High awareness of safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment.
2. Physical ability to lift objects weighing up to 11 lbs.
3. Teamwork and communication skills.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Warehouse cleaning and organization.
• Creation and updating of shipping-related documentation.

Salary: Hourly wage: $24

Working Conditions:

• Average weekly working hours: 15 hours
