【Position】
Accounting Manager

【Job Summary】
As an Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the daily accounting operations of our organization. The Accounting Manager will plan and direct the accounting operations of the company.

【Essential Duties/Responsibilities】

• Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
• Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards. 
• Oversees the operations of the Accounting Department, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, audits and day to day accounting and administrative responsibilities.
• Produces the annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management.
• Works with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual audit.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Base salary $120-130K

【Qualifications】
Those who have experience working at a U.S. subsidiary of a Japanese company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Those with accounting experience or knowledge based on US-GAPP. Those who have experience in handling audits with auditing companies.

Those who understand the internal controls required by the Tokyo Stock Exchange, such as J-SOX compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position supervises the Accounting Department. 
• Oversees training programs and identifies training needs.
