Human Resources Manager

Summary
A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and manage all HR functions. The HR Manager will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training, performance management, and benefit administration to support the company's goals and workforce needs.

Essential Duties

• Lead recruitment efforts for all positions, including exempt and non-exempt roles, using online platforms, educational partnerships, and referrals.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding to ensure proper payroll, benefits, and compliance setup.
• Administer and manage employee benefit programs, workers’ compensation claims, and company policies.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, and update HR policies as needed.
• Provide guidance to managers on HR matters such as performance management, equal employment opportunity, and disciplinary procedures.
• Manage payroll processes, monitor attendance, and track employee vacation and leave balances.
• Develop and implement training programs for personnel, focusing on employee development and compliance.
• Serve as a liaison between employees and management to address workplace concerns and improve employee relations.
• Prepare and present HR-related reports for management meetings and board reviews.

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Onsite work required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate’s degree with 8–10 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment acceptable.
• PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
• Proven knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including EEOC, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, etc.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office applications.
