Export Coordinator

Summary
A Japanese logistics company is seeking an Export Coordinator. You will be responsible for facilitating the transportation of freight and cargo for our clients, ensuring smooth and efficient export operations. Fluency in Japanese is a big plus but not required.

Essential Duties (Unofficial; Please ask the interviewer for more details)

• Tracking, tracing, and updating the status of shipments on a daily basis.
• Work collaboratively with the Traffic Department and Accounting to provide top-notch, timely, and efficient service to customers.
• Monitoring of reports.
• Accurate and timely billing to customers.
• Providing customer service via email and telephone correspondence to address customer questions and concerns.
• Maintaining good relationships with various vendors such as carriers, truckers, terminals, and etc.

Working Hours, Working style
Monday - Friday;  9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Torrance, CA

Salary/Benefit
$22 - $23 /hour

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or a related field is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly.
• Fluency in Japanese is considered a big plus.
