Inside Sales Representative

Summary

This role is with a specialized manufacturer and distributor that provides high-quality industrial solutions, including specialized parts and components for the automotive industry. The company operates as a key link in the global supply chain, offering technical expertise and customized distribution services to major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Known for a customer-centric approach, the organization is currently expanding its direct partnerships within the automotive sector to support next-generation vehicle production.

Essential Duties

• OEM Account Management: Act as the primary internal contact for the client, managing everything from initial inquiries to final delivery and follow-up.

• System Operations: Manage and navigate the specific portal used by Toyota for order management and communication, ensuring seamless processing and compliance with automotive industry requirements.

• Launch Readiness: Execute preparation activities for the December 2026 production start, tracking internal processing milestones.

• Procurement & Coordination: Handle internal processing and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely product delivery and inventory accuracy.

• Client Support: Resolve routine customer questions and manage business-related documentation for both the primary account and secondary customers.

Working Hours, Working Style

• Schedule: Standard business hours, Monday through Friday.

• Style: A professional setting requiring a high level of organizational skill and the ability to manage complex data and system-driven tasks.

Salary/Benefit

• Salary: $50-65K/ year (DOE).

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven sales or administrative experience specifically working with Toyota accounts.

• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of Toyota Portals and related automotive supply chain systems is required for immediate impact.

• Language: Proficiency in English is required. Japanese/English Bilingual skills are highly preferred and will be given priority.

• Competencies: A "can-do" attitude, ability to pivot quickly on competing priorities, and a strong sense of responsibility for end-to-end internal processing.
