Account Manager 


Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for obtaining and maintaining long-term key customers by comprehending their requirements. The Account Manager will be engaged in a variety of tasks including sales, business development, account ownership, project management, coordination, customer & partner relationship management, negotiation, partner management. 


Essential Duties
​​​​​
・Business Development with existing clients with a global corporate network for IT services. 

・Building proposal for key projects for automotive global accounts and relative clients aligning it as per customer need.

・Scheduling Internal/External sync stakeholders.

・Maintaining strong relations with key personnel from global accounts, and other clients. 

・Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.

・Expanding the relationships and business portfolio with customers by continuously proposing services and solutions that meet their objectives.

・Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.

・Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.

・Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders.

・Manage accounts from a sales relationship perspective and be responsible for the end-to-end sales cycle.

・Vendor/Partner management for Joint delivery of Services to the key and new accounts.

・Supporting team expansion initiatives for technical projects at client locations.

・Account farming, expanding existing accounts by engaging in active discussions with customers with business unit’s expansion

Qualifications

・Strong background in manufacturing systems; experience leading shop-floor system implementations and operations is highly preferred.

・Experience in IT sales or account management within the automotive industry is a significant plus.

・Bilingual Japanese and English with strong English communication.（Higher than business is MUST) 

・Bachelor’s degree in business administration or in a related field.

・at least 3 years of experience in the IT industry in Account Management and business expansion area. 

・Ability to be client facing by interacting with our clients and their executive leadership.

・Self-starter with a knock for taking initiative and ‘getting things done’

・Have a passion for your work and an ability to apply that passion to both daily tasks and larger ’projects.

・Ability to work with a remote team via collaboration tools (Chat, Email, and Video Conferences).

・Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with little to no supervision.

・Ability to work independently with substantial latitude for action and decision while maintaining focus on achieving optimal outcomes as part of a collaborative development effort.
