Position　Human Resources Manager

Summary

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing and supporting all personnel for the Fairburn, GA facility. This role will assist HR leaders in the implementation and coordination of employment, labor relations, wage and salary administration, orientation and training, placement, and employee services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Recruitment: Full-cycle recruiting, including screening, interviewing, and hiring hourly candidates.
• HR System Management: Experience with ADP modules, including recruiting, time, and attendance.
• Employee Benefits: Administer and interpret group insurance plans (life, medical, dental, vision, etc.), and assist employees with enrollment.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification and manage pre-employment screenings (drug tests, physicals, background checks).
• Payroll and Attendance: Administer weekly timesheets, payroll discrepancies, and support payroll for hourly production employees.
• Employee Engagement: Coordinate employee engagement activities, team lunches, and events.
• Training and Development: Conduct new hire orientations and assist with ongoing training.
• Exit Interviews: Conduct exit interviews to determine reasons for separation and manage unemployment compensation matters.
• General HR Administration: Process employee uniform/safety shoe orders, answer employee questions about benefits and policies, and collaborate with supervisors, managers, and HR leadership.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, Day Shift
• Flexibility: Flexible nights and weekends for after-hours HR issues or concerns.

Salary/Benefit

• Salary: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 annually

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of applicable HR experience.
• Skills:
  • Ability to positively influence people and communicate effectively (both written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ADP Workforce Now.
  • Understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Moderate or light lifting (5-20 lbs).
• Ability to walk, stand, or sit for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to operate office equipment including a computer keyboard and exchange information verbally.
