Accountant

Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and driven Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principals and regulations, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.  The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of month-end and year-end close processes.  This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will contribute to the financial health and growth of our organization.

Essential Duties

• Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
• Conduct month-end and year-end close processes
• Manage AP & AR functions
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company procedures
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
• Support audits by providing necessary information and documentations
• Coordinate the preparation of corporate tax return
• Collaborate with Accounting assistants to assist accounting assistant manager
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records and documentations
• Other duties/projects assigned by management

Working Hours, Working style
9a-5:30p CST 
Fully onsite at the office

Woking Location

Salary/Benefit
60-65K

Qualifications

• ​​​​​​​ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field or can be substitute with experiences 
• Over 3 years in Accounting, preferably in manufacturing or food industries but not required
• 1-3 years month-end and year-end close processes 
• Understanding of GAAP is required
• JSOX understanding is bonus, but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate and effectively collaborate with other employees from different departments.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.  
• Capability to adapt within fast-changing environment and to be flexible as needed.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task within fast-paced working environment.
• Proficiency in Accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
