Warehouse Supervisor

Summary Stage, load, and unload products and materials. Stock and maintain warehouse inventory. Load and unload ocean containers. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Essential Duties

Primary Responsibilities

  • Inspect items by electronic scale or hand count.
  • Data entry into the inventory system.
  • Communicate with customers via email or telephone.
  • Label and move items to the designated area.
  • Stage finished products for shipping.
  • Responsible for quality control.
  • Operate forklift with 5+ years of experience in loading and unloading oversized items.
  • Shrink wrap, box, and label products for shipping.
  • Load finished products onto trucks.
  • Unload products and materials from trucks.
  • Move materials to warehouse storage.
  • Weigh and measure cargo.
  • Ensure no damaged product is sent out.
  • Complete daily logs.
  • Perform maintenance checks on forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain the work area.
  • Challenge strangers and escort them according to TSA regulations.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
  • Maneuver the vacuum lifter to handle aluminum or steel sheet items (training provided).
  • Occasionally receive work orders directly from customers on job sites.
  • Conduct physical inventory periodically.
  • Handle over-dimensional or awkward items such as sheets or bars.
  • May be required to drive company vehicles.
  • May be required to assist with office work.

Working Hours, Working style 9:00 - 17:00
