Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Adheres to daily schedule provided by Area Service Manager to visit and service customers’ machinery.
•Troubleshoots electrical, hydraulic and mechanical problems leaving the customer with theassurance that the problem has been or will be resolved.
•For new injection molding machines: starts up, provides molding assistance, and gives hands onoperator and maintenance training.
•Responsible for timely and accurate field service report specific to all services on site, problemsincurred, safety violations noted, hours and expenses.
•Responsible for all the proper use and care of all company-issued tooling, property, andproprietary information.

Responsible for projecting a positive image to the customer by having a positive attitude, personal appearance, and the highest level of professionalism that must be consistent with company guidelines.
•Generates clear, concise, accurate and complete field service reports, expense reports, and timelyreturn of those reports to the home office.
•Schedules time and makes travel arrangements consistent with the department’s objectives ofcontrolling costs, and travel and living expenses.
•Provides temporary phone coverage for technical support and/or manager while there is a vacancydue to vacation and/or illness.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required:
•Two-year technical degree in the field of electronics,or equivalent experience in the plastics industry.
•Demonstrated field service experience or equivalentexperience in the area of troubleshooting and repairof injection molding machines.

Working Hours: 9:00-18:00

Locatioin: Only residents of Georgia or California may apply. 100% WFH 
Salary Range: 70K-80K
