【Position】
Sales

【Summary】
Sales Representative introduces the company’s solder products to in-vehicle parts manufacturers of various in-vehicle sensors and automotive electrical equipment, electronics parts, and semiconductor parts to help these customers find what products work best for their application and upsell new products. This position provides complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in the assigned territory in order to boost top-line revenue growth and profitability.

【Essential Duties】

• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling, visiting, and/or communicating with them
• Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
• Prepare and submit RFQ and SR whenever necessary or appropriate
• Maintain a spreadsheet of previous sample requests and follow up with the customers accordingly
• Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
• Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and compile status reports
• Supply management with detailed reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
• Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers
• Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales regions or demographic
• Generate and submit sales reports to management
• Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses

【Qualifications】

• Bachelor’s Degree in business from an accredited four-year college or university preferred
• One year of direct outside sales including closing experience
• Demonstrated ability in meeting sales objectives
• Impeccable interpersonal communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with marketing strategies and buyer psychology
• Self-discipline and time management skills
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
• Ability and willingness to travel for trade shows, demonstrations, and client meetings
• Valid Driver’s license is required
