Position
Japanese Bilingual Software Engineer (ERP/CRM, etc.)

Summary
A Japanese IT company is looking for a Software Engineer with over 3 years of experience in .NET and SQL. The role involves managing, improving, and fixing issues in the cubes within their in-house ERP system. Tasks include troubleshooting, backup, recovery, installing new cubes, and enhancing performance. Must be fluent in Japanese.

Essential Duties (Unofficial)

  • Software Design & Development: Elicit requirements from users and design DB schema, application architecture, UI, reports. Implement, test, and deploy to production.
  • Windows form application: Creating Windows form applications to add on to our in-house developed ERP in order to satisfy new business requirements (VB.net / C#.net)
  • Web application: Develop and enhance our Web based WMS (warehouse management system) and CRM web sites, for both of PC and Mobile access (ASP.Net / PHP / JavaScript / jQuery)
  • Mobile Application: Develop and enhance Android based application used in sales force and warehouse
  • Reports: Add and modify corporation reports
  • Deployment: Visit their facilities in the US to install ERP/WMS and train the users
  • Operational Support: Identify the source of the trouble and fix the problem timely. Give proper suggestions to our support team and delegate the operational tasks to them
     
Working Hours, Working style
Monday - Friday; 8:30 am - 5:00 pm 
Hybrid Remote

Qualifications
  • Fluent in Japanese (both spoken and written 
  • Conversational proficiency in English
  • 3+ years of experience in .NET system and SQL server
  • BS or MS in Computer Science is a big plus
  • Willingness to travel for business trips as necessary is a big plus but not required.
