Product Coordinator

Position: Product Coordinator
Department: Servo Systems Division
Location: Torrance, CA
Employment Type: At-Will; Exempt
Reports to: Product Development Department Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate inquiry development from inception to mass production.
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Inside Sales, and other departments to advance projects.
  • Compile, review, and interpret customer requests for submission to the Japan headquarters.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships to support growth opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between Outside Sales teams and internal service providers, including technical support and pricing teams.
  • Monitor and track project milestones, ensuring progress updates for stakeholders.
  • Work with the Inside Sales team to meet customer delivery requests.
  • Prepare sales reports and sales forecasts.
  • Assist in sales forecast data entry and issue escalation, including RMA matters.
  • Obtain compliance information as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Strong working knowledge of industrial products.
  • Native-level proficiency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams, including upper management, clients, sales, and technical teams in Japan headquarters.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, goal-oriented mindset.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment.

Work Conditions:
  • Must be physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
  • Some domestic and international travel may be required to meet with clients, distributors, and business partners as directed by management.
