Sales Representative

Position: Sales Representative
Department: Sales
Reports to: Sr. Sales Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-Time
Location: Hybrid (Irvine, CA)

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for achieving sales quotas and profitability goals by developing relationships with distributors, visiting prospective customers, and driving sales growth. The position requires frequent travel to meet clients, support retail partners, and coordinate promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers.
  • Develop new business by visiting prospective customers and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Provide product support, negotiate deals, and deliver sales presentations.
  • Arrange store demos, attend industry events, and support promotional campaigns.
  • Maintain sales floors, set up displays, and monitor competitor activities.
  • Prepare reports, update CRM systems, and assist with trade shows.
  • Handle customer inquiries, process returns, and support accounting with payment collections.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and seek continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual: English and Mandarin/Chinese
  • 2+ years of sales experience in CPG and account management.
  • Experience with syndicated data tools (IRI/Nielsen) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently, including some international trips.

Work Environment & Schedule:

  • Hybrid work environment with office and remote flexibility.
  • Standard Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule, with occasional weekend work.
  • Physical demands include light lifting (up to 15 lbs.) and frequent travel.
