Job Description

- Pursue new business opportunities to increase the company's overall sales by conducting sales and account management activities and securing sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
- Develop agreed upon sales targets and goals with management.
- Manage all aspects of sales activities from start to finish, including purchase follow up.
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through phone calls, emails, web understanding products, business trips, customer needs and requirements.
- Research and conduct marketing strategies to grow business opportunities and increase visibility.
- Thoroughly understand and research the product and be able to convey to customers the company’s product offerings and technical services.
- Thoroughly research market, competitor, and industry trends.
- Maintain monthly sales projections.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and merchandising techniques.
- Negotiate with clients based on the client’s needs
- Travel to client sites for sales meetings and negotiations.
- Communicate with headquarters as needed for information on products, purchase orders and logistics.
- Attend and prepare for meetings, presentations, seminars, and trade shows to grow a larger presence and for leads.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience.
- 5-10 years of professional sales experience in technical field.
- Bilingual English and Japanese language (optional).
- Highly motivated and target driven.
- High level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
