Position
Accounting Manager

Summary
​​​​​​​This position is responsible for directing and overseeing the corporate accounting team; providing proactive support focused on the improvement ofthe efficiency and effectiveness of the organization; setting goals and objectives to maximize its long-term wealth.

Essential Duties
・Develops and implements the corporate accounting team's goals, projects, policies, procedures, methods, and controls.
・Directs the general accounting activities including maintenance of general ledgers, and analysis of various accounting reports.
・Reviews periodical tax returns and/or reports as required by governmental agencies.
・Develops and maintains internal audit control system. 
・Oversees the cash management function.
・Provides data, reports and other information to assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
・ Coordinates with other departments concerning short- and long-range fiscal need and plans.
 ​​​​​​・ Prepares financial statements for reporting purposes in a timely manner.
・Protects corporate assets and controls their transactions.
・Communicates with external auditors and/or tax advisory firms and prepares the necessary documents.
・Coordinates with external auditors and/or tax advisory firms for tax planning and solving tax issues.
・Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions.
・Maintains professional knowledge to perform his/her duties. 
・ Maintains financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
・Maintains financial staff by coaching, counseling, and disciplining subordinates; monitoring, and appraising job results.
・Performs subordinate's duties as necessary to ensure work is completed.

Qualifications
​​​​​​​・ Possession of a Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent discipline is required, possession of a MBA and/or CPA is desirable.
・Knowledge of principles, practices, and methods of modern accounting and auditing, tax preparation and compliance, corporate finance, and accounting software.
・Proven communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
