1. Coordinate and maintain until complete shipments for overseas offices2. Sales Support: assist with collections, set up meetings & presentations and create reports,3. Prepare and send rates to customers7. Ensure that the customers understand TSA, ISF any other Government regulations in regards to importing and exporting8. Maintain air rates and ocean rates make sure they are current and at market value9. Make sure “Known Shipper” validations are complete10. Assist with import duties, quoting import rates, and explaining procedures11. Set up and maintain competitive rates for local and domestic services12. Invoice third party, research invoicing issues for customers and accounting13. Arrange booking of ocean freight LCL/FCL14. Set up shipments with operations making sure the customer’s instructions are followed15. Assist with any duties or projects when called upon and complete them in the time allotted16. Perform other duties as assigned
Basic English reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.Japanese reading, writing and speaking skills requiredKnowledge of office processes, procedures, and technology, Experience in supervising team activities.Ability to read and interpret accounting and financial reports.Two to three years of office experience which includes Customer Service.Excellent communication skills.
